Angry Bird Transformers is coming : Rovio Entertainment

"We're really excited to combine the iconic Transformers universe with the quirky world of Angry birds, "said Blanca Juti ,chief Marketing officer of Rovio Entertainment.

It seems that this will be an extension to Rovio's successful kart racer Angry Bird Go ,Although not explicitly stated .

The date of release of Angry Bird Transformers is not clear but will follow the upcoming Angry Bird Stella that launches in September this year.

From the reveal image it seems that wee have following characters:

Optimus (Red )
Bumblebee (Chuck)
Heatwave (Terence)
Springer (Hal)
Matrix (Egg)

I think it will be interesting to see how Rovio Entertainment brings these Transformers characters and special moves into the digital experience and in particular the balance between virtual and physical in app-purchases.

Even though Google is yet to announce the release date of Android 5.0 , according to some input it is most likely that the company will release it at the I/O 2014 conference and might name it Lollipop (though the name is not official yet).

Just after two weeks at Google's I/O , we will witness the release of Android 5.0 at the end of this month and the another one important announcements expected at the Google I/O is Android TV and might also focus on the Android wear.

Amazing things You want to know about FIFA World Cup 2014

The ongoing FIFA world cup is historic for one big reason. Technology is going to play a big part in the games, to a level we've ever seen .

Take the official ball for the tournament named Brazuca. A new structural innonvation with unique symmetry of six identical panels alongside a different surface structure is what will provide the ball with enhanced grip , touch, stability and aerodynamics on the pitch.

FIFA is implementing a revolutionary Goal Line Technology for the very first time in a tournament of the scale of the world cup. it requires every stadium to be equipped with 14 high-speed cameras, with seven of the cameras tracking each goal line plane.

Sony and FIFA are also working together to capture and broadcast the upcoming world cup in 4K UHD display format (4x1080 p ), making it the first such tournament in the world to do so- i mean, what better way to promote and accelerate the adoption of 4K than capturing the attention of the largest captive television audience .

Prozone a UK based software analysis company that tracks the whole activity of every player because every player stick with ball only for average 3 minute and the remaining time what they do Prozone is going to track EPL players during games , and it definitely aims to excel and improve player output.

Before the tournament kicks off on June 12 however, a volunteer who suffers from paralysis is to publicly demonstrate a never-before seen mind controlled exoskeleton that will allow him or her to walk during the opening ceremony. this special suit will allow the person to walk on the pitch using only their thoughts to guide their movement until they kick the football and mark the opening of the world cup and also the next whole new era in brain research .

World's Slimmest Android Smartphone Gionee Elife S5.5 full review

Gionee has just pulled the wraps off their latest smartphone the Elife S5.5 with the tag of World's Slimest Smartphone the S5.5 gets its name due to the 5.5 mm thickness. Gionee launched this phone with a grand affair in Goa. This device is priced of Rs. 22,999 in India.  Here is the first impression of the Gionee Elife S5.5 .

The Elife S5.5 isn't just about ultra-portability, but has premium specs as well. it sports a 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, Performance should be top-notch considering the octa-core 1.7 GHz processor trend of today.

This device sports a 13 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front-facing camera. Just like other Gionee smartphones it run's on company's Amigo OS,  which adds some interesting shortcuts and homescreen in addition to the standard Android screen and powered by a 2300 mAh battery.

This smartphone supports 3G network and can support six different bands , the company also working of a LTE version of this device by the end of June.

The S5.5 is looks like a art piece the pretty looks are backed up by a magnesium alloy chassis for strength and durability .The phone has a glass front and back, which in most cases work as a fingerprint magnet. But surprisingly , this device doesn't hold onto smudges all that much which is great work .
One of the highlights of the phone is the 5-inch Super AMOLED display. The display of this device delivers rich colours and very good viewing angle. The Android version is still 4.2.2 however so hopefully Gionee updates this to 4.3 at the very least , if not KitKat.

The camera of this smartphone manages some pretty good indoor and outdoor as well. i couldn't get better shots since all the phones were tethered. i noticed the the camera heats up after taking some picture which is not a good sign for S5.5 .

The company has already established itself in the Indian Smartphone market with the successful launches like the E6 and E7 and hopefully with the S5.5 .
